Latest CAPRI resultsCAPRI(Critical Assessment of PRediction of Interactions) is a community wide experiment to assess the capacity of protein-docking methods to predict protein-protein interactions. The unbound proteins' atom coordinates are given to the researchers while the cocrystalized complex is not released. In the latest two rounds (Round 9 and 10), we used our novel PIPER methodolgy, the systematic FFT search with pairwise potential; retained low-energy structures were clustered based on structural similarity and top ranked clusters' centers went through stability test and refinement from SDU, the stochastic global optimization algorithm exploiting protein docking funnels. Our predictions based on the multi-stage method above were evaluated by independent assessment team: 4 of them were ranked as ``acceptable'' (*) predictions and 3 were``medium'' (**). Suprisingly in both last rounds close to native models were ranked one by PIPER Round 9 Round 10 | |||
