My research interests are in computational drug design and cheminformatics. I work on developing a set of libraries of drug fragments varying in size to be utilized as probes by FTMAP. FTMAP will be able to use these probes to build a set of drug candidates starting from fragment sized and increasing to candidate sized. Successful hits from a library of one size will be used to screen the library of the next largest size before running FTMAP again. In addition, I am working on our parameterization server that allows for any small molecule to serve as a probe for FTMAP. The purpose of the server is to allow user-defined probes for FTMAP. The same process will be applied to the fragment libraries and stored to increase performance of future protein target development using FTMAP. One last project I am working on is the development of multiple small molecule probes using a single compound with multiple possible R-groups by taking the compound and list of R-groups and creating the molecules to serve as probes for FTMAP.
